Throughout these Terms (“The Terms”) and Conditions “we/our/us/ service/website” refers to giftdelivery.co.uk.
(1) Who we are and what we do
giftdelivery.co.uk is an online Gifting Marketplace.
(2) Contacting you
Your access to and use of our website is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the service.
By accessing or using giftdelivery.co.uk you agree to be bound by these Terms and any subsequent revisions. If you disagree with any part of the Terms then please do not use this service.
To register and use this service you must be 18 years of age and over.
We may not accept or process your order if:
- if we are unable to get authorisation for your payment
- we do not receive payment
- we deem your personalisation request illegal, obscene, offensive, pornographic or defamatory
- you have ordered alcoholic products and we believe you are less than 18 years of age
- you have ordered alcoholic products to be sent to someone less than 18 years of age
- there has been an error in our pricing or description
- the ordered items are out of stock
- any uploaded material is in breach of copyright
Any content you upload to giftdelivery.co.uk must be your own or you must own the intellectual property rights. If your content is a photograph, video or recording, you must have taken the picture, video or recording yourself or own the copyright. You must not upload content that infringes a copyright or any other third-party rights.
By registering with giftdelivery.co.uk you are:
- confirming that you are 18 years of age and over
- agreeing not to create any personalised items intended to infringe copyright or to abuse, intimidate, threaten or harass anyone
- accepting that you are entering into a contract with us
You are not permitted to share your account with another person or group(s).
If you believe someone else has taken control of your account please inform us immediately.
(5) Our products
We want you to be happy and satisfied with your purchase so we make every effort to accurately photograph and describe our products. On the odd occasion there maybe discrepancies in style, colours, sizes and weights.
Product colours may vary from the display shown on electronic devices.
Packaging may vary from the website images.
All items are available whilst stocks last.
(6) Your order
To order a gift from us you are creating a contract between yourself and us.
Follow the step-by-step process on our website.
Once completed you will be asked to confirm your order.
Then you will be asked to pay for your order in full, including VAT.
An order is deemed real when your payment details have been submitted and authorised.
When your payment has been authorised we will send you an Order Confirmation email with a unique order number for your reference and our reference.
All prices are quoted in British Sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the present rate. The current rate of VAT is 20%.
All payments must be made in British Sterling (£). We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Solo, Delta and Electron. Customer payments by credit card from outside the UK will be invoiced in British Sterling (£) at the rates prevailing at the time the order is placed.
Postage and packing are charged in addition to the price of any goods and are clearly stated before the point of purchase with the exception of any promotional offers.
Whilst giftdelivery.co.uk is happy to deliver internationally, customers are liable for any local taxes or import duties incurred as a result of delivering to international destinations.
(8) Delivery – NEED TO KNOW IF WE ARE USING ROYAL MAIL OR COURIER?
Please be accurate when entering the recipient’s address and be sure to include their postcode.
If you enter the delivery address incorrectly we are not liable for gifts that go unreceived.
Our order process is up to 5 working days and we will deliver your gift to the UK mainland, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Eire. Any BUYER requiring a delivery outside UK, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Eire must call us on 0800 5999 590 to confirm the correct prices & delivery charges that apply.
All orders are dispatched within 24 working hours via a next day courier service.
Please take into consideration extreme weather, act of God, postal strikes, bank holidays, peak times – anything out of our control.
Orders placed will receive free shipping to the UK mainland.
If you want to send more than 1 package to the same or different address please enter these as separate orders.
(9) Order amendments, cancellations, returns and refunds
At Gift Delivery we aim to provide 100% satisfaction to our customers. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Please review your order at every stage and at final confirmation. You are responsible for accuracy. Any photo or content uploaded will be stored on our servers for the purpose of processing and for filling our contract with you. Your order records will be kept in definitely whilst you have an account with Gift Delivery. Up on closing your account the information will be archived and stored for up to 7 years unless requested otherwise.
We will not alter any spelling, grammar or punctuation.
If you wish to amend an order please contact us during our business hours Monday – Friday 9.00 am to 5.00pm and we will do our best to meet your requests however, if an order has already been processed this will not be possible.
Log in to your Gift Delivery account to check the status of your order. If an order is in the process of being or has been printed and/or packed and dispatched then the order cannot be amended or cancelled.
If you think our goods are faulty, broken, incomplete or not as described please contact us by email or phone during our business hours Monday – Friday 9.00 am to 5.00pm and we will work hard to rectify the situation. We may ask you to send us photographs to assist us in resolving the issue.
If you are eligible for a refund, you will be reimbursed via the original method of payment. In some cases we may offer you a reprint with free delivery.
You are not eligible for a refund if:
- The goods are perishable
- The seal has been broken on any of the goods
- The goods have been personalised in any way
- The goods have been handled to the extent that their value has been degraded
Whilst great care is taken to get every order correct we may make the occasional mistake. If you think we have made an error with your order please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone during business hours Monday – Friday 9.00 am to 5.00pm and we will do our very best to rectify the situation.
We have the right to cancel any order at any time. In this instance we will contact you and issue a full refund.
(10) Reviews and testimonials
If you submit a review or testimonial to giftdelivery.co.uk then you agree that we may publish your testimonial with your name on this website.
Gift Delivery may edit your text and publish edited or partial versions. However, we will never distort the view of the testimonial.
(11) Intellectual property rights provision
The contents of these pages (including without limitation all descriptions, images, photographs, designs, pictures, logos, graphics and written text) are the copyright trademark of Gift Delivery. The copying, modification, reproduction or incorporation of part or all of the material on this website in any form is prohibited with the sole exception that you may print and download extracts for the purpose of using this website or placing an order with Gift Delivery.
